By registering as a courier on Mocket, you agree to provide delivery services responsibly, comply with applicable laws, and abide by the terms below.
General:
- You must be 18 years or older to use our platform.
 - You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
 - You are responsible for keeping your account information confidential and secure.
 
Platform Services:
- Marketplace: Our platform connects buyers and sellers to engage in transactions.
 - Delivery Service: We facilitate the delivery of goods through a network of delivery partners.
 - Partner Service: Sellers can register as partners to list their products on our platform.
 
Eligibility & Verification
- Couriers must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate delivery services in the registered region.
 - We require valid driver’s license verification and background checks before approval.
 - Couriers must maintain external insurance coverage (vehicle, liability, health) as required by local regulations.
 
Order Acceptance & Rejection
Couriers can accept or reject delivery assignments via the Delivery App. Repeated rejections without valid reason may lead to suspension.
Tracking & Privacy
Delivery tracking will be enabled to provide real-time status updates. Personal courier data is protected and only shared with relevant parties involved in delivery.
Liability & Insurance
Couriers are responsible for damages caused by negligence or misconduct. Platform is not liable for courier-operated risks beyond verification and monitoring.
Payouts & Commissions
- Payouts are calculated per completed delivery and processed daily after order confirmation.
 - Commissions and fees are deducted as per agreed terms.
 - Platform reserves the right to withhold payouts in case of unresolved disputes or fraud investigations.
 
Delivery Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of packages as per instructions.
 - Maintain communication with assigned shoppers and platform support when needed.
 - Report any incidents, damages, or delays immediately.
 
Payment and Fees:
- Transactions on the platform are subject to payment processing fees, which may vary based on the service (buying, selling, delivery).
 - You agree to pay all applicable fees for using the platform’s services, including transaction fees, delivery charges, etc.
 
Suspension & Termination
Platform may suspend or terminate courier accounts for policy violations, failure to maintain valid documents, or repeated delivery failures.
Intellectual Property:
- All content on the platform (logos, graphics, text, etc.) is the property of Mocket or its licensors. You may not use it without permission.
 
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability:
- We do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of products listed by third parties (partners).
 - We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from transactions between buyers and sellers.
 - Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
 
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria and applicable West African regional agreements. Disputes will first be addressed via our internal support team. Unresolved cases shall proceed to mediation and then binding arbitration under Nigerian law or applicable international rules.

Commission & Fees
- Platform deducts a commission fee per delivery as agreed upon during registration.
 - Additional fees may apply for premium delivery options or service disruptions.
 
Dispute & Holdbacks
In case of delivery disputes, payouts may be temporarily held until resolution. Fraudulent activities can result in commission reversal or account suspension.
